I’ve been doing this a ton lately and I feel like no one my age (especially in this Postmates era) eats at restaurants by themselves.

Yeah I do but depending on the type of restaurant it is. If it’s a fancy spot then hell no, if it’s like a Popeyes or Denny’s then yeah.

I'll do this when I'm travelling. At home I'll just get it to go, unless it's more casual.
Now that I'm thinking about it, my measure whether to eat alone at a restaurant is whether you get waited on

i have. at bistros or from the lunch menu at "fine" restaurants or some fast food joint. i don't mind eating with people but i much prefer eating alone

concerts, movies and restaurants alone are all great

F*** yeah. I love going to a Mexican restaurant by myself and not having to share the chips and salsa. Love going to concerts, movies, and amusement parks solo.

I did that at Nandos once on a trip. No one I knew wanted to go there but since the nearest Nando's in America was in f***ing Maryland I went. 10/10 Europeans are lucky as hell
