I think it’d have to cus it’s just sales and the RIAA isn’t specifically discerning mixtapes from albums for rappers. If it’s for sale they’re counting it
Regardless tho it’s not really a surprise since Ye has been around for long and it’s likely Drake will surpass eventually. They’ll both prob pass Jay within the next few years who also has more projects than both
