Only real ones know this is the rightful ranking:

    1. JESUS IS KING
    2. Ye
    3. The Life of Pablo
    4. Yeezus
    5. 808s and Heartbreak
    6. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
    7. Graduation
    8. Late Registration
    9. The College Dropout

This is because as he gets older he gets more experienced in creating art and levels up in taste.

The only exception is MBDTF because he wasn’t trying to make real art there, but more like critic-bait pseudo art. He wanted to make the masses believe he created a masterpiece in order to save his career, and he accomplished that.

He’s been playing with public perception ever since fam. Once it was stablished that he is able to create “masterpieces” he went on to do whatever he wanted whether you’d like it or not (it doesn’t really matter to him because his taste level is so much higher than yours).

He was about to do the same s*** on the 7th solo (Pusha was right when he said that album was going to be better than MBDTF) but he changed his mind and went for the art (and THEN he regretted that, Pablo era is Kanye’s craziest yet {which one/which one}).

Now it seems like he doesn’t give a f*** anymore, but he can make MBDTF 2 if he wants to (and he might just do that before focusing on his presidential campaign).

This is a pretty hot take.
You do realize Kanye only sleights MBDTF’s effort in that it came from the exact place you’re talking about. He felt the need to appease his critics and fans alike after his PR suicide. Not because the music itself isn’t perfect (which he also described it as such).

Besides that, I think Tony Williams has the best take on his early s***. You can’t make a better rap album than Late Registration or College Dropout, you can only do different at that point. I think it’s a compelling reason to say that Grad definitely isn’t better than LR or Cd but hey it’s different enough where you can write it off as preference.

Other than that, even though the Yeezus Stans and Pablo Stans attack each other over which is better, you’re going to get laughed out of the building saying Ye or JIK is better.

You’re delusional if you think the cheap ass arp and saws on On God are some high level of taste. It’s content is good, it’s production is trash. JIK has lots of very bland and boring moments and the Jesus stuff actually compromised the depth of the lyrics.

Likewise with Ye, some of his weakest writing to date. But at least it has some replay value.

Those cheap arps and saws (I don’t know what that is) on On God are intentional. Everything Kanye does is intentional and that means is good.

From a Christian standpoint, there is nothing more deep than Jesus.

And what’s weak about Ye’s writing?
ITAKY has one of his best lyrics ever.

After finishing reading your whole long ass post I realized that you wrote the exact same thing I wrote on OP, word by word, except for the beginning part when you said “Man that’s crazy OP, cause I was just thinking”

Therefore my question is, why did you do that?
