Watching a tv-show
Playing videogames
Scrolling twitter/instagram/social media
Isn't all of these things just ways to make you escape reality?
For me it feels good in the moment, but when I stop and think about how I spend most of my days I get really down and think wtf am I doing with my life.
The f***ing thing is I don't know what I want to do in life, but how will I ever find out? By coming home from my 9-5 customer service job, watch netflix, play some FIFA? Then on the weekends I get drunk with my friends and then it's monday again and it all just keep looping? It somehow doesn't make sense to me
Please keep this thread serious
There's more to life than scrolling through twitter and partying on weekends. Read, educate yourself, travel whenever you get a chance.
Yea s***s ass
Even research moves so slowly n rarely pans out, I guess life is about patience and diligence
Do things you actually love doing then, wtf, dont waste your only life🙏
Yes bro this is what I'm concerned about. I don't know what I actually love doing

Yeah damn. Life is long and I have such a long way to go and I guess I will be fine, but having patience with that while your life is stagnating is making me worried/anxious.
Because we dont have to survive anymore
As long as u work, all your needs are satisfied
This way of life is still technically new especially for us minorities

try new things. I never tried jrunning, I did and I really like running early in the morning.

Try doing something new. Do you like reading/go to the gym/play any instrument?

I recently started buying books and I've started reading some of them. I am trying to read at least 20 minutes a day.
This summer I tried golf for the first time, which was really fun and I did it all summer. I've always been playing football since I was born and it was kinda a relief to do something new in that sense
Do you think you are depressed?
On and off right now. Been taking anti-depressants for almost a year and I was way worse back then. It comes and goes now.

Thank you. I have been going through 2-3 "self-help" books and actually a few things has stuck with me. "The monk who sold his Ferrari" was the latest one I read, it was really good.

Yeah I'm on antidepressants too, for a while I was on them they weren't helping. They take a long time to kick in as well.
We both feel the same way judging on your OP, I struggle with this issue too. Nothing to do in free time, etc. Only difference is I'm about to get married in a few days.
But I still feel similar I don't have many friends, and it's hard to find a hobby without spending alot of money.
Would suggest you get off of social media though, it really caused alot of problems for me and caused lots of negative self talk.

Then keep doing those things, especially golf, since it keeps you away from your phone and in company with friends. Keep on finding new things to do until you pick up enough hobbies so you won't find the time to do the things you mentioned in OP 😊 I for example haven't played with my switch in months cause I'm always busy lol.
Also, playing video games and watching TV shows isn't always meaningless, they can be a form of entertainment too and sometimes are needed to detach from our daily routine

thank you bro. the same to you. eventually everythings gonna be alright
