Classiquei used to feel this way but i curated my feed and it’s only stuff and people i’m interested in. if it doesn’t add value to me i unfollow or never follow to begin with
people just need to utilize it better. you could use it to network, make money and gain knowledge about whatever businesses, careers or activities you’re into and meet people who are into it as well
or you could use it like everyone else and project a fake image of yourself to seek clout while comparing yourself to everyone else nonstop

Love Life UtopiaYea one of the founders of Google said he’s been off the internet for a while and doesn’t let his kids use it. Another founder of YouTube said the algorithm is designed to keep you clicking and scrolling so if you have nothing you actually typed into the search bar, turn it off cause then you’ll fall into the dopamine feedback loop.

rayrayIdk. Feel like social media is just a reflection of you/your mind. You control 95% of what you see on your TL. Never complained or hated social media. I follow and look at things that inspire/educate/interest me everyday
lol that isnt true. i get tonnes of bullshit on my feed just because i ‘watched’ related ones. it has nothing to do with whether or not i continuously watched content for that person or even liked any of their s***. the algo pushes what it wants.

Everyone is in constant competition with each other, all looking to out do each other with each post, oh look at me and my new shoes blah blah yeah well look a my new jacket. Everything is fake, superficial and glamourised. Fake lives, fake filters, fake friends, fake situations.It makes me sick. It's all for show all for others to boast about what you have.
I’d rather die than ever be seen on such a thing. I’m way too apathetic and narcissistic to give a toss about people's lives. I have zero interest in having a constant update of people who couldn’t care less about artificial meaningless lives.
i like being negative too, but there is beauty in social media that people refuse to see.
