science is slowly accepting that the darwinian model is overly simplistic

the reality i think is somewhere between the darwinian model and some unknown ability of cells to control mutations in a sophisticated manner to select for helpful genes in a way that works below the level of natural selection

and half the people who could steer us in the right direction are too convinced that the world is run by some secret cabal and that voting is useless
