There’s a huge difference between what ye has been saying and what kendrick said, kanye is way more inflammatory (on purpose for attention)
I don’t think any of them went as far as ye except maybe cannon and he actually got a lot of backlash
Kendrick has shown that he aligns with the Black Hebrew Israelite movement, which share all of the viewpoints and beliefs that Kanye is spewing.
Like a white person may not say the N word with a hard R but if they openly endorsed and aligned with the KKK, it’s gonna be assumed they stand for what that group stands for
I don’t agree with this way of thinking at all, nor am I defending it, but it’s really interesting that plenty of prominent black figures (Kendrick, Jay, Ice Cube, Nick Cannon to name a few) have publicly shared these exact same beliefs very recently and weren’t criticized as much as Ye is getting criticized right now
Kanye has admitted to doing what he does for attention. Of course he'll get more s*** for it , not to mention he doesn't even seem to know wtf he talking about

Isn’t it worse then if guys like Jay and Kendrick and Cube aren’t saying it for attention and genuinely believe those things?

No because you can actually have a dialogue with those people. As soon as you include "I'm just doing it for the antics" into the equation, it's hard not to take anything you say or do in bad faith.

Society isn’t interested in having a dialogue though.
If a white person came out and said racist things that align with KKK beliefs and ideals, nobody would be interested in having a dialogue with that person, they would just pack them up and get them outta here

What dialogue is there to have? These are people who admit to not knowing WTF they’re talking about and the people who want to engage in dialogue are not well read themselves
Why would people who don’t know Math debate about what another person who also doesn’t know math says about the subject?
Isn’t it worse then if guys like Jay and Kendrick and Cube aren’t saying it for attention and genuinely believe those things?
Being a bigot for attention is arguably worse than actually being a bigot lol at least the bigot don’t know better
Still tho part of it you’re missing is at least in a case like Kendrick he didn’t go nearly as far in embracing the hate specifically, he embraced a questionable ideology/group but ye is straight up saying s*** that’s worse. Factor in the Hitler stuff and this is more than black Israelite, dude is pro Hitler that’s something else

That’s my point.
Which brings me back to my question of why guys like Jay and Kendrick and Ice Cube aren’t being criticized as harshly as Ye is for sharing these same beliefs
Kanye gonna force me to change my avy after having it for ~7 years
Still the goat
1. Dumb blonde bimbo is/was a very prevalent trope in movies and television, and that type of character isn’t solely limited to being portrayed as a man. Also, don’t know what TV you’ve been watching lately but a lot of recent media is showing men and women to be on very equal playing fields when it comes to power and intelligence (Ozark, Succession, Better Call Saul, Severance to name a few).
2. There are definitely movies where the antagonist is a gay character. One I can name off the top of my head is Birds of Prey from 2020. It’s definitely less common but it’s not obsolete.
3. I agree there is a push in recent media to show men in more feminine, non-traditional roles, but it’s not because there’s some secret agenda to make men weak so we don’t revolt. It’s because men like this exist in real life all across the globe and there’s an effort being made to represent them and show that masculinity doesn’t define a man. And the same is true for women: there are numerous female characters that aren’t traditionally feminine being represented, it’s not because there’s an agenda to push, it’s because people like this exist in our world so they should be seen in our media.
Ozark after season 1 has been the wife running the show and the husband being a b****. And they literally say it in the show itself
And by the end of season 4, spoiler alert, all of the main male characters have been killed off, mainly by women. D*** lord dude gets set up and killed by his own sister to take control of cartel. Wendy gets her own brother killed. Shaw woman tells d*** lord sister about Ruth which gets her killed. Ruth girl kills d*** lord nephew. Wyatt dude gets killed bc of Old stubborn woman who refuses to stop growing heroin. And that old woman the season before kills her husband
That show became a bunch of women running around killing ppl and all the dudes just sitting back

Dude, that just sounds like a belief held in ignorance and that's not something you can work with. Ignorance is Ye's bread and butter, and that's why he's getting shat on heavily.
The problem with Kanye is that he knows this and he doesn't care to learn.

Show me any proof that’s not just pure hearsay that Ye supports Hitler. Why do some of y’all always have to run off with the worst of the worst possible scenarios as if they’re definitely true.

Cube has been consistent for the most part. He became less radical but he still practices what he preaches.
Listen to his albums man

The source is extremely reliable and is it really that hard to believe lol it’s ye it would be dumb to not assume the worst. You being an optimist in this time is wild
That’s my point.
Which brings me back to my question of why guys like Jay and Kendrick and Ice Cube aren’t being criticized as harshly as Ye is for sharing these same beliefs
because those other guys don’t have a band of stan’s who crawl through every social media to ratify the ideology of their idol online that he himself says he doesn’t really even believe in or understand and will change his mind and back down and say ohh well i don’t read books the first instance someone fights back
The source is extremely reliable and is it really that hard to believe lol it’s ye it would be dumb to not assume the worst. You being an optimist in this time is wild
How is the source reliable? The source been hating on Ye for almost a decade
That’s my point.

Because they aren’t pretending to be educated on politics by wearing it on a shirt, going into political Talk Shows, and attempting to make extensive political a***ysis outside of their Art Form
Making an ignorant take within your Art is an ignorant take within your art. Kanye is taking it to another level by pushing an agenda in fields beyond his expertise with much more ramification than making albums
It’s reckless, unprincipled, and undisciplined.

Y’all gotta chill with the speculation lmao.
There’s no concrete proof that Ye said he’s pro-Hitler. That’s a line that even he wouldn’t cross

The dumb blond stereotype was almost never attributed to the wife of a main character, only ever side characters so it’s not the same comparison and regardless I said in the original post
In the last 20 years
That trope has barely been a thing in mainstream television the last 20 years unless it’s put in solely to demonize its own usage
