He was coping fine enough until 2016, that’s when it went out of control for many reasons and he’s never managed his mental illness well enough since

Having kids himself probably didnt help his mindset

Homosexual part is wild but not surprising when you been brainwashed by the right wing. Man totally became a parody of who he use to warn us about when he made the college dropout

I knew damn well Ricardo tisci had him stimulated after making carpets together

The hypocrisy is insane considering he was the one to break the stigma of rappers having to be in the streets, wear baggy/masculine clothes/speak about their emotions (yes there were niggas before him, but he took it to the next level)

He stood up for homosexuals in hip hop culture. What the f*** is really going on right now.

This really hurts watching in real time

the interview with sway where he called out homophobia in hip hop and said it had to stop

    he's fallen so far

I mean yeah. I'm not totally convinced that this isn't exactly what's happening. Maybe I'm coping, but this is such a well-established arc for many "cancelled" celebs'/writers'/influencers' careers that its just a formula to follow for automatic support and attention. Like, Ye isn't even close to the first to do such a thing.

But what makes me think its genuine is that Ye was never that great of an actor to sound so delusional as he did in that Tucker interview. So I think that he actually is that far gone. He convinced himself of this s***, maybe even so he could garner this attention

Yeah I don’t think it’s an act I think he believes it too but I also think on some level he’s conscious of what he’s doing

dog he's 45 years old and his moms died 15 years ago that excuse looks so ridiculous now

I’m not making excuses for him…but to put a timeline on your parent passing is crazy

Perhaps he was being forced to do those things because it was the trend they wanted people to follow who knows.

I didn’t watch the episode or anything so I don’t know the context and HOW Kanye said things (that matters a lot) but the thing is it’s not racist or anti-religion to tell the truth no matter what the truth is. I don’t know what Kanye said, how he said it or under what context but I know Kanye usually goes misunderstood. Anyways, if what he’s saying is true there’s nothing wrong with him saying it. The truth is never wrong or bad.

Yeah honestly reading about this appearance, and putting aside my feelings on his awful comments, if we’re talking political strategy this is genius

Like he might be actually putting himself in position to be a serious contender in politics now and it’s wild that saying this stuff would do that but it does

“Liberals are so hateful, that even saying a true statement like ‘White Lives Matter’ sends them into a frenzy”

Because back then it was the norm in hip hop to be homophobic so he had to rebel against that

Now it’s closer to the norm to support LGBTQ so he has to go against that

He never believed in anything he did or said it was all a ploy for attention through contrarianism

Like the phrase Black Lives Matter (which isn’t just some tongue in cheek disingenuous joke like WLM) didn’t send the right into a frenzy. Grow up. The white lives matter thing was in bad faith it’s not like it was anything legitamate

I don’t really care about the truth in this context or not since it doesn’t change anything really. We’ll never know so we might as well speculate.

We know kanye had bad contracts that he couldn’t leave/get away from so it’s not far fetched to assume those contracts had stipulations.

We ain’t talking about lyrics we’re talking about his actions outside of that

You might need to get off the site if you’re this slow and not familiar with the music or music industry

Ye is pretty much a vulnerable narcissist with BD. When someone gets/does well at something, Kanye is suddenly self conscious that he didn’t get any attention.

So he’s just gonna do or say s*** that people agree with or like to snatch some $$$. Now he doesn’t need them so he moved onto another audience (right wingers)

  • Oct 12, 2022

Sounds pretty awful, gonna need to see a vid or hear it from the horse’s mouth. People will hear something, come up with the most offensive possible interpretation, then paraphrase it and run with it.
