You want a 6-6?
You want a 6-6?
no i don't want a supreme court at all but if there has to be one I want it 101-0 in favor of judges who will favor leftist policies and rule in favor of the working class, poor, and other disenfranchised groups.
Lol at ppl itt attempting "Gotcha!" KTT posting.
Its simple: I want more judges that agree with me and fewer judges that don't
Way better that 6-3 lol. 6-5 is actually fair
thats not the role of supreme court ๐๐
I'm all in favor of court packing since it increases the chances your boy will be a Supreme court justice one day. make it 100 why dontcha
abolish the Supreme Court and the Senate
why the senate just cause republicans control it?
I could see the argument for supreme court because why should they be unelected and able to overturn congress

no.. not just cause republicans control it lol
it's fundamentally undemocratic
some senators have 600k people to represent
others have 40 million people to represent
also yeah that's the problem with the Supreme Court and some of the founding fathers didn't even for see them having the power to over rule the congress
some legal experts think the congress could actually overrule the Supreme Court by putting a line saying they can't rule on the bill into the bill.. no one has ever tried it though

Theres a few ways Congress can override the supreme court
No. If a democratic president won and was able to appoint 3 justices and in turn Republicans wanting to expand the courts would everyone in this thread keep this same energy? Just because one party doesn't get their way does not make it so that the rules should be changed.

Congrats on missing the point
Congrats on missing the point
The expanding the courts topic was only brought up recently. Hmm wonder why?

Maybe because ppl are starting to see how dumb of an institution it is
if neither party trusts an institution without wanting to arbitrarily modify it to serve their desires then its a pretty good indicator the institution literally should not exist. Regional Confederationism is clearly the superior answer to highly centralized bureaucratic hierarchy
The only thing to really do if you aren't going to just abolish it.
doubt it'll happen and its risky because the GOP might just do the same
if they're doing it then they should also get rid of the electoral college, fix voting rights and make DC and PR states so they're basically guaranteeing the GOP can't win
if they aren't doing it im hoping we at least get term limits

the whole point is because states. you would have to decrease the power of states to do that.
i dont think the supreme court should be able to rule on bills tbh so i could see an argument for decreasing their power to just court cases.

I'm all for Democrats playing the same dirty games Republicans have been playing. Bust that b**** open and let mad liberal judges in.
