    It is kinda corny.

I love Nas music as much as I love Hov's.

You can like both ya know.

You can like both and still acknowledge that there's some weird passive-aggressive fanboy energy coming from Hov.

I do. Ofc I prefer Nas and respect him more as a person, but I'm still a bigger Jay fan than most of the hovlaff spammers on this site.

If push don't coincidentally start releasing songs/albums the same day as drake for several releases (the same way jay z and nas have) I don't think there his releases would be tied to drake....

This is just over a***yzing for the sake of drama. They been cool for 15 years now

Comparisons will still be made. It'll just be about who got the best verse on each song. Competition will always be a part of hip hop!!

There's an interview with Nas where he talks about how the competitive nature of hip hop lured him in back in the 80's.

Success and Black Republican are great. BBC is fun but just okay-ish.

AZ and Nas still a far better duo tho

We know jay has an unhealthy obsession with nas remember when he would f*** nas exes and ask them how was the s***compared to him?

Hov is a student of the game

All the d*** fat went to his lips

I'd take an AZ and Nas album before a Jay and Nas album.

Personally I think Jay and Nas have one of those lightly combative artistic rivalries where they keep tabs on each other and try to build on what the other is doing, but there's no hate anymore.

You definitely don't have to hate your rival. I think back in the day the Beatles and Beach Boys had a "fuck, they did THAT" feeling about each other, but how can you hate someone that brings the best out of you? No way.

With everything that was going on at home and with Kanye this past decade, I'm sure Jay is chill with Nas and vice versa. All the old s*** is in the rearview. Doubt we get a collab album but it would be great if they were on their 4:44/King's Disease tip.

she said that Jay used to call Nas' phone when and leave messages like "Yo son, what's up it's me, uh me and Premo are doin a track right now, and uh there's 16 bars open you wanna drop a verse..."

she said they were at a party once and Jay thought it would be funny if he started clownin Nas about his chip tooth and he was sayin stuff like "Yo Nas come over here and open this Henessey...nah I'm jus playin homie" but Nas didn't smile or nothin, he jus gave Jay a blank look...

she said that when she was with Jay he'd ask her weird questions about her and Nas, like what positions Nas liked to hit, and weird stuff... she said Jay-Z was obsessed with Nas

she said in Jay's Manhattan appartment Jay had a huge vinyl collection of rare Nas singles and @#%$...
