watching all of these chronologicaly as a lead up to F9

such amazing turn off your brain movies

and seeing them back to back really makes this feel like a real connected world

F1- Simple/really cool movie to start
F2- Ramps everything to 11, so much more polish
F4- So hard to follow and clunky at some parts
F5- it all comes together beautifully, refreshing
F6- embraces new identity and starts the lore building.

Tokyo Drift next

yea the acting by pretty much everyone besides han and occasionally xzibit is pretty meh, but its focus on actual japanese car culture (ahead of its time btw) rather than bank heists and government experiments is what most people love about it (side note: i do enjoy fast five even tho its considered one of the "new era" outlandish installments)
