I hate that I said Ye would never grow on me.. its great now aside from 2 tracks
there’s literally only one good song from both albums combined imo
ksg was some midpack too but ktt ain’t ready for that one
What the f*** is the matter with you!
Every Hour doesn’t get skipped and neither does Water. But yeah, for the most part u right
Sadly it’s the same with most albums from the past year
I feel like I played Every Hour a thousand times
I don't think anything leaked from the original Ye
And ehh, the intro is literally one of the greatest intros I've heard
But Wouldn't Leave, Ghost town, No Mistakes, Violent Crimes are all great songs but it's super safe to make songs about your wife and daughter
I agree with the last statement in that its easy to make love songs about your wife, but Kanye is not really doin that on Ye.
Instead the songs deal with one of the more difficult points in his marriage and struggling with seeing his daughter grow up
I feel like I played Every Hour a thousand times
F***ing love that song
He right thou
Unt unt
Ye is trash. JIK is great. Just talks about Jesus the entire time so it doesn't have the replay value. Both "came and went" though, yes, cause Ye is 40+ now and kids aint f***ing with him like that anymore

This will happen with JIK too lol, Y’all always say the same with new Ye Projects

Yea see that but still
Wanted more wild Ye like always
It's for sure his most safest album
Well maybe JIK is now
Ye still at the bottom for me for Ye albums
What the f*** is the matter with you!
someone post this dudes avi for me
I will see y’all niggas in a couple of years saying this was old Kanye and praising the album
Lying >>
Water maybe but it doesnt really go anywhere interesting besides the loop
The single angelic snap during the chorus of Selah
A true hymn.
people loved graduation back then and now tho. 808s is a grower tho ill agree with that
Nah not at all Kanye was getting hated on heavily for leaning to pop plus he called himself a designer instead of a rapper during that era and the backlash was swift.
Alot of people misremember the 50 v Ye thing as just gangster rap vs alternative.
But for alot of folks in Hip Hop Kanye represented pop and when he dropped Stronger he gained alot of fans in the mainstream but it made him a target.
He then also posed as Jesus Christ and the hate in Hip Hop increased aswell
I always say Kanye era's are never remembered for how truly wild they ALL are.
Grad was HUGE because it crossed over but he lost that Mos Def conscious fanbase respect at the same time.
To explain how alot of Ye fanbase saw that album as a sellout album There's no Jesus Walks or Crack Music on Grad and Ye also spoke on wanting to be like U2.
I could go on and on about that time period 06-09 that was his peak AND lowest point believe me

Niggas be talking like Ye is in the prime of his career and hasn't already been cemented in history lmao

Just goes to show how GOAT he is tbh
