RASIEI've only seen Dunkey's vid of it but it's been on my radar.
And while I was just looking up more details about it I came across one of polygon's Dollar General political thinkpieces, in which a writer delivers the "breaking news" that feudal japan was big on nationalism and traditional samurai were a major facet of that political era... And since the Ghosts of Tsushima recreates the look of Kurosawa's films without addressing the deep political complexities of feudal Japan's conservatism, then its unwittingly co-signing far right extremism and nationalist ideology.

I’m downloading it now, heard mostly good things
I'm still dumbfounded at how the mainstream gaming press was not only able to so easily (and swiftly) change the narrative at the very beginning of gamergate, but actually come out as the "winner" in regards to public image.
It went from being potentially the biggest discussion about conflict of interest in game journalism since Gerstmann was fired from GameSpot...to "gamers vs women and gays/trans people", literally overnight.
Im glad people like Dunkey ended up making his game critic vids addressing the corporate incest in that field shortly after GG was "over". Still sucks it turned out how it did tho

Wtf i didnt know Playstation VR ONLY works with the PS brand equipment... I swear i thought Oculus and another major VR thing worked on it
Also didnt realize Playstation is out here using their f***ing ball-in-the-cup Move controllers for the VR handsets

• Nier Automata GOTY edition
• Shadow of the Colossus remaster
• Ys Origins
• Star Ocean: The Last Hope remaster
• Dead Cells
• Gravity Rush 1 & 2 remasterCant wait to dive in

one of the GOATsI'm ashamed to admit that since it came out on ps2, i've spent many years admiring it and learning all about it...but i never actually got the chance to play it myself
Finally gonna check it out and im glad my first time will be with this GLORIOUS remastered version that i've always thought looks incredible.Ive also always loved this video about the search for the game's "last secret", and its what made me really wanna play the remaster:

Well it seems like f***ing every awesome game on ps4/xbox ends up getting a Switch port like 6-8 months later, and the Switch versions are always some extra "definitive edition" type s*** with all kinds of added content and QoL improvements
After i beat DQXI on ps4 last year, i found out about the Switch version and all the s*** they changed to make the game better and cooler. And for months everyone on PS4 was wondering if they'd get an update/patch that would include at least some of the new stuff from Switch — and SqEnix repeatedly said "we aren't sure" and "it's not a priority right now."
Fast-forward to just a couple months ago and they announced the Switch version will be coming to PS4, not as an update/patch, but as a separate $40 game purchase...
S*** pisses me off. I swear developers better not be getting comfortable with the idea of releasing 2 versions of the same game on ps4/xbox — "pre-Switch" and "post-Switch" versions — for $60/$40 a piece
