Damn not even Rick Moranis is safe on the streets of NY
He was wearing an I <3 NY shirt
Nier and SotC
What game(s) would you say NieR is closest to in gameplay? Ive seen lots of vids of it since it dropped, but i cant tell if its as much of a DmC/GoW type game as it looks — ive seen some people describe is a JRPG in the vein of KH & FFXV, so im confused

Yeah it's like if DMC and Bayonetta had a baby with a JRPG. You have to time all your dodges and attacks but you still have gear and weapon upgrades, level ups, etc. That game is awesome.
Also, it doesnt end after the first "ending", so make sure you dont stop there

gameplay wise that’s a real weird game. didn’t do it for me personally. i read the plot tho and it’s pretty dope, especially with the multiple endings

Cant wait.
Ive been playing Ys Origin for past hour or so and its pretty damn fun. Was looking for more games to scratch my Gungeon itch, so i got that one and Dead Cells, and this Ys s*** is hittin the spot

"Central android core - removal means death" ...do we really need that though?

Yeah i finally beat all the main 4 pasts, unlocked Paradox and Bullet Kid, completed the elevator quests, and have bought all but a few of NPC shop items
All i have left to do in it is beat the lich, unlock gunslinger and beat his past, and finish up the monster hunt quests. Then im pretty much done.
Suck that Dodge Roll have moved onto Exit the Gungeon and other future projects... If they kept releasing updates with more content over the next 5+ years then i'd def keep playing it religiously. Too bad i dont have a good computer gaming setup so i cant play Mod the Gungeon

I need to pick it up again. I got really into it at one point. My favorite character was the convict. I think she started with a shotgun and molotovs or something? Haha

so random he’s probably such a nice guy too

Yeah the marine, convict, and hunter are dope. Bullet kid might be my fsve so far just because his starter infinite gun's attack is so GOAT when youre at full health.
But im not even bullshitting when i say it took me AT LEAST 50-75 tries to finally beat the Pilot's past... His past aint even that hard, it's just f***ing getting to that point with his s***ty ass starting wep/equpment
so random he’s probably such a nice guy too
Famously chose to raise his kids himself instead of making more films

Its like a Rick Moranis movie written by David Mamet haha
That Hitcher rewatch tho

Dawg it's one of the first games i downloaded after playing DQXI and since then ive been putting hours upon hours into it. Im not into throwing around the label "addicting" to describe every other game cause thats dumb and bad imo, but Enter the Gungeon is dead ass gaming heroin to me
Ive never even liked run'n'guns/shoot'em'ups and other bullet hell games either. But that game pulled me in hard. There's also a lot of content, and the replay value is off the charts since the whole game is designed around the idea of you replaying it many times in a row haha.
The only game that pulled me away from it for a decent amount of time was the FF7 remake. But after i beat that, i was back grinding in the gungeon
Famously chose to raise his kids himself instead of making more films
Honey I Raised the Kids

might do a Near Dark rewatch tonight

Incredible cinema experience as a kid those
Same. When the annoying blonde jid tames the ant...that litte arc used to f*** me up as a kid
Between that, Mufasa's death, Little Foot's parents, and the beginning of Ace Ventura when he drops the raccoon... my childhood was filled with trauma

did you get the Cliffhanger reference when you saw the raccoon fall?
He was wearing an I <3 NY shirt
Do locals even wear those lol? I imagine seeing people wearing "I <3 NY" stuff in NYC is like hearing someone here call Atlanta "Hotlanta" — or anything besides "Ayy Tee Ell" really... Instant giveaway that they're tourists haha
