Trump is more loud and entertaining but most of what he did in that debate was take credit for the s*** Obama did, make up false claims, played on weak stories like Giulani's weak hit, and surprisingly stayed silent on his past racist s*** brought up (Central Park 5, saying more black people should be in jail)

Trump had only 1 real hit and that was going at Biden for pandering. It was a good hit but ultimately its the needle in a haysack of s***. Even when Trump tried to say Obama/Biden have done nothing, that ignores the stats that everything he takes credit for in ways of economic growth has been progressing as such according to any statistic you look at since 2010 when the recession peaked.

I think anyone who takes office builds of the prior presidents work and the fact that before the pandemic Trump's economy number were better than anything Obama had is a success. The only attack Biden has is Covid but its hypothetical since he himself doesn't have a plan besides a bullshit mask mandate. Truth is were a country with over 300 million people who arent exactly healthy to begin with, our numbers are not gonna look like South Korea, Germany or Canada.

Trump is Trump but lets not pretend that Biden is not a crooked politician either haha.. He's not even denying those emails or his son's laptop, instead he's saying its Russian collusion again. Clearly someone was getting kickbacks and reaping the benefits of the Biden name. The fact that a lot of minorities aren't completely dismissing Trump says how little they believe in Biden.

I can say one thing about the stock market and taking care of the 1%.. My dad has a basic stock/pension and has made about 4K extra under Trump, meanwhile during the Obama years hardly anything. I cant go into exact details but I gotta figure if the market is doing good its gotta play into it.

I think thats kinda a BS way of looking at things because if you looked at where the economy was when Obama left, it was barely any better than 08 so it discredits what Obama did that led to the same slope of economic growth since 2010. The only real praise you can give Trump is that he didn't f*** it up until his 4th year (which if you look at it, his tax breaks to corporations clearly had a big role in how much of a s*** storm it was when middle class and lower class people started losing their jobs and had little to nothing saved while corps are all fine and doing great in the stock market)

And Covid is a pretty good attack considering Trump knew about Covid months before it even came here and he dismissed it as a liberal hoax until we had tens of thousands of cases here in March. Biden's plan seems pretty vapid, but then again all it really took was common sense for most of th countries to significantly reduce their covid spikes, which is what Biden is saying. The problem isn't what Trump is doing, its when he started doing it.

Also, only like 10% of african americans and 28% of hispanics (many of whom were probably white hispanics) voted for Trump over Hillary. Its pretty much guaranteed these numbers will be even lower this time. So idk why you're saying "a lot of minorities", hes barely had support from them and his biggest "minority group" support in the hispanics are probably mostly white hispanics lol.

Also, 4k is nothing when you realize millionaires are making hundreds of thousands, even millions in the stock market. There's a reason Elon Musk is now like the 4th richest person in the world lmao. If your dad had been in the stock market when the recession hit, then yeah he isn't making anything back since the economy was only a little bit up in 2016 compared to 08. Trump giving middle class and lower crumbs while giving millionaires all the tax breaks and environmental regulations they can break so they can stand on the backs of their workers and cash out.

I think its still gonna be a close election race, but yeah my whole philosophy is that when someone f***s up as much as Trump, I doubt even Hillary could do worse

Im not discrediting Obama's economy, he got us out of the Bush hole. But im not gonna pretend Trump's economy wasn't clearly better. Its easy to look at his personality and critique but his numbers are there.

And yea Covid is a good attack, its basically the only thing Biden could use against him that has some valid points. Could you imagine if 2020 was a year without a global pandemic, what would he say then.. It wasn't just Trump downplaying the virus, highly regarded scientists that were in Biden's corner did the same. Maybe not calling it a hoax but it wasn't hyped as a catastrophic event.

Being in S.Flo I was surprised how many Hispanics support Trump and no not just the white ones haha. It was definitely a wide range broski. Minorites who break from the democratic mold are usual labeled sell outs, uncle tom, race traitor, etc so it would be a lot easier to just say their democratic whenever these numbers come out.

We cant compare ourselves to millionaires, im sure they are making a killing. That's why I always laugh whenever they bring up Trump's tax returns, they have top of the line attorneys looking for every loop to exploit so they can pay less. Trumps economy is better, but heres my point. You get pretty much any president in office and Obama's growth rate is most likely not going to get better or worse. There isn't anything in the trend that indicated that Trump affected anything.

I'm pretty sure I was seeing the WHO and a lot of media talking about scientists saying this was going to be an extremely dangerous virus back in like February bro. And thats the media. Imagine how long Trump must have known and did nothing. There were reputable people downplaying it but even then I am pretty sure they expected more provisions to be taken before they made those claims.

I mean I think its a pretty flawed system when the wealthy are getting that much richer every day while the middle class get little to nothing. I ain't saying neoliberals like Obama or Biden are going to fix that, but Biden's party has like 40% genuine progressives that seem to be the only real ones who find this to be concerning. Clearly Trump's mentality of trickle down economics failed in every conceivable way. Whether or not Biden proves to be an ineffective leader, I am sure he will atleast put the groundwork for some of these ideas to get more traction in the future.

And ima tell you this bro, the amount of money I made in the first 3 years off the stock market during Trumps presidency was chump change compared to the money I made cashing in on the market when covid hit
