thoughts on SODTU being the goat album of '58? Bo, Richard, Jerry etc came out with classic albums but they were basically compilations of their singles. SODTU is its own vibe the whole time and i dont think there was even a single off of it.

In a way I’ll be happy to get Trump out because I’m so exhausted with all of this but at the same time I’m more terrified for what 4-8 more years of a return to supposed “normalcy” is going to lead to. Trump was a natural response to that kind of neoliberalism as he pointed out in the debate. The next actual right wing populist who will respond to Biden’s failures will be the real fascist. In a way I’d rather just 4 more years of this crap and maybe it’ll swing back around to a Bernie type that can actually win.

I don’t see what’s so special about him. Bush was a much worse president. Trump is a typical GOP ghoul with a bigger potty mouth who makes the occasional gesture towards populism. The best thing he does is doesn’t play ball with the military industrial complex all the time. Biden on the other hand will roll over and let them do whatever they want.

He’s a mixed bag on that but I’d prefer occasional incompetence and stubbornness that makes him hold back than full blown neocon bloodthirsty aggression. He watches that fake populist idiot Tucker Carlson but actually listens to his anti war s*** and that may have prevented an actual war with Iran. So that’s better on some level than Biden declaring he’s going to be harsher on our enemies. That scares me. I’m worried about where either campaign will take us. I couldn’t stomach voting for either.
