steely dan is extremely high quality though fr took several rounds of digestion to get to this point but its some of the most finely crafted music ive heard. instrumentation, production, solos (but not wanky!), melodies, lyrics, harmonies

It’s poppy for sure and I’m not as high on it as that thread but the intro gave me Changes by The Zombies vibes and other portions of the track felt very Bittersweet Symphony. First listen I didn’t like it much, but it grew on me.
