It’s simply that Ithaka is possibly the nicest poster I’ve interacted with on this site and I’d say he’s for sure a stan, but he’s never antagonistic towards people’s tastes. His warm attitude and kindness when it comes to recommending music and appreciating diverse takes makes his threads one of the main reasons I came back on more frequently. Yeah for sure that Weezer thread is filled with over exaggerated hype and an inflated sense of value being put on everything but it’s a kind place to interact with people. There’s way too much negativity in the word right now that’s it’s like walking into a completely different universe when I’m conditioned to the positive attitudes in there to come back into my favorite thread with people I respect to just see intense negativity. I’m sorry for getting defensive.
This isn't entirely true... not sure if I've seen anyone as defensive about their artists as ithaka. He came in he and threw shade probably at me just for saying I like Weezer despite how lame they are.

I like the first seasons alot but the Return is pure zenithafter thinking about it I can't even really decide on a specific favorite. all 4 are like equal for me lol but FWWM and The Return definitely bring a little something more while keeping the atmosphere of the og series imo
