Yeah a ton. The original is like this technicolor campy dream land slasher on acid. He turned it into this self serious German art film with muted colors. Any references to the original feel like they’re mocking it more than winking at it lovingly. I made a long review ranting about it lmao but in all honesty I don’t hate it. It’s got it’s own vibe and aesthetic that I can respect and there’s some great scenes. I also dig Thom’s score even tho it’s got nothing on the original Goblin one.

So glad that Rick and Morty is back
