Perfect ambience
hearing the otherworldly splendor of Age of Consent immediately to drop into that
brings me down every timei dont hate it but also just feel it would be more effective placed elsewhere on the tracklist. like literally almost anywhere else but the 2nd track

Tea Company and Damon albums were both hitting nicely today
•Bull Of The Woods barely counts as an Elevators rekkid cause they were so fractured at that point. One classic however its a real dinger.
•Hawkwind was nice but not a keeper
•Cant imagine a Vanless Them is that great
•Butterfly is very nice but i havent heard it in years cause i wanted to do a respectful Hollies chronology which is really paying off right now
implore you to do the same before we get to their real psych phase. Ive been meaning to mention to you how funny it is reading all these old interviews.... i never wouldve guessed it but a common thread across all these interviews is everybody... sometimes in hushed voices... talking about The Hollies and how Graham Nash has really evolved 
even Keith Richards in a '66 interview "id really like to meet him now, ive heard hes really changed" 
always wondered how he weasled his way into a band of ex Byrd and Springfielders in CSNY but it makes sense cause he seemed to have unanimous respect amongst his peers. i think it had to do with how friendly and unpretentious them and their songs were... not getting too much critical praise or anything just dropping the purest harmonies anybody had heard since the Everlys over and over again across a ton of great singles. just getting to the point now where they stopped relying on outside songwriters and really buckled down on writing their own s***.- rvi 🐦⬛Dec 6, 2021·1 replyElric

Bull of the Woods first listen was meh af honestly but he also bizarrely stans that one, likes it over the debut and holds it as almost equal to their masterpiece Easter Everywhere
all the main 70s Hawkwind stuff has been growing on me for a while but I totally forgot that debut exists so figured I'd throw it in too. How deep did you get into their discog?

not very deep with Hawkwind, Hall Of The Mountain Grill which was sweetnah trust me, pretty sure hes legit got one of the biggest/best psych collections in the world. the real deal, just got some occasionally puzzling opinions

very clearly their masterpiece and probably a good contender for best psych albums of the 70s
