first 5 albums are all pretty consistently solid hard/glam rock with some strong songwriting, just certainly no masterpiece or anything imo. but some of their later hits after that as they reached commercial peak are pretty diabolical

so theyre not a bad band but certainly not even close to all time GOAT status like their sales numbers/status as a top 5 most popular band oat might suggest to passersby. Mercury is cool but also obviously not one of the best rock singers/frontmen like the common opinion imo

any fan of 70s hard rock cant deny that this is quality material
