I’m not big on solo Jack either
Just thought I’d let you know
Each solo Jack album is diminishing the prestige of the White Stripes
wrap it up Jack
They made a crack den out of sun loungers in a swimming pool
s*** was ridiculous
Songs like if the gang from Trainspotting tried to make an album
it ended up being kinda boring so not really
Only heard it once?
has the best music you want to keep on repeat for years ever hit on first listen
70 albums is the limit for the list right?
New Molly Nilsson album is out and sounds a lot like all her other album albums. Which means it's really good

Kraftwerk, NO, Depheche Mode the 3 big synthpop groups?
depends what you mean by "big"
has the best music you want to keep on repeat for years ever hit on first listen
technique was also their grower for me especially
I love Ian Curtis but he wouldn’t have been able to adapt to their evolution in sound. Still consider it all apart of the same bands legacy. Movement is totally a transitional record. It’s got one foot in both doors.
I really don't like these type of statements. Just because you don't have the imagination for it doesn't mean he wouldn't have. Nobody else was envisioning a Joy Division in the '70s either. And a Banshees prove that there was room in the '80s for a Joy Division.

The most acclaimed/prolific
then yeah i guess even though kraftwerk didnt have as much synthpop stuff as the other 2
ive always thought of it as more of a main 2 with new order and depeche tbh
once told someone on the old ktt this was Slipknot's original line-up and they believed me

The resemblance is uncanny
Tbh yes but unironically
Was he doing in the '80s what Bruce was doing in the 70s and what Spector was doing in the 60s? Kind of the impression I have
Wouldn't call that the spirit of rock and roll really
“Punk is ‘fuck you’, post-punk is ‘I’m f***ed’”
Grunge is "everything is f***ed"

Nobody could've made this story up cause it's so stupid and unbelievable.
"However, once he heard about the spiralling crack problem, he chartered a flight straight over and as his plane was coming into land, he witnessed Ryder and Bez wheeling a sofa down to the street apparently to sell for binge funds. "
"Ryder held firm on these master tapes nonetheless and threatened to destroy them if he wasn’t given some money. He was happy to settle for the £50 he was offered."
I feel like this s*** was a lot more common than we're aware of
f***ing rock stars
New Earl album is great. Kind of tired of him doing these in and out short EP length things but it’s my favorite thing he’s done in years. It’s a mix of everything he’s ever done.
