she sounds amazing to me at this point and very distinct. better at expressing emotion than almost any pop singer, even the others i love like Madonna, Carly Rae etc. honestly since she's probably not technically an amazing vocalist her vocal personality is why I like her vocals so much. what vocalist do you think sounds like that? not even considering the slight country twang part still in her voice in that era which isn't exactly the most common thing for the mainstream pop star
