It felt like a comedy after the party
hmm it felt more comedic before the party for me

it was a comedy before and after.
That Hungarian guy tried to pull some big d*** moves on Nicole but Tom pulled two cuties to even the score
Even Shinings atmosphere and mounting tension? Creepiest thing about it for me

People who hate Shyamalan really love A24's garbage movies I've noticed. Poseur horror fans basically. Midsommar is just the same dumb s*** as Hostel and The Green Inferno, but with Instagram ready aesthetics. You hate Shyamalan because he essentially created the A24 “elevated horror” formula with The Sixth Sense and The Village, and now hipsters like Ari A****** and Robbert Eggcup are prentending to be these deep thinkers off the back of it. Shyamalan's very existence knocks a hole right through your flimsy conception of “cinema.”
Yeah there’s definitely some stand out tracks like that. Sweet Thing and the big single Rebel Rebel are great too.
You seem to be watching alot of classics

"this felt like when you take an edible and it hits wrong" sounds like a good premise for a movie to me

i saw everything everywhere all at once a few weeks ago tho
Is that covers album worth checking out
Idk if that was a labour of love or a contractual obligation but it’s mid. Ruined a great streak.

He wanted Steve Martin and Woody Allen to be the leads at one point

i didnt know what a24 is until i just googled it but it was pretty enjoyable
Film is somehow both under and overrated. I'll be done with my Naruto rewatch soon and that film is on my rewatch list once again. Always thought it obviously vould have used some trimming but has a rather strong core
How long did that Naruto rewatch take?
He wanted Steve Martin and Woody Allen to be the leads at one point
sounds hot

Cruise is a better actor than the other two but Woody and Steve are two very different types of comedy. Really wish we could’ve seen some test shots.

This person is spot on tbh
Oh yeah I haven't seen that one yet but it looks like everyone else liked it
I loved Old but there’s some people who can’t wrap their heads around the intentionally awkward dialogue and acting.
