Yea man its a done deal for de Heat, once Herro got injured the offensive threat evaporated. Not saying he would have been the savior but he plays a big role coming off the bench to put up points.

I have yet to play this game, and I likely never will cause from all the vids I've watched it looks like a game that was really built to be played with mouse & keyboard. Could be wrong.

But what I do know is that the OST is f***ing heavenly.

I've had the main recurring tune from it stuck in my head twice a week for like a whole year.

Whole soundtrack is great tho. Had it playing front to back last night while reorganizing our personal files and it put me on happiness autopilot

I hate how 99% of the job listings you find online don't have the the salary or just say something like 'competetive salary'. It's 2022 ffs quit the pretence that anyone is doing this for anything other than money

Also This Boy's Life, a Memoir by Tobias Wolff (Tobias Wolff taught with Raymond Carver at my alma mater. They were friends and their writing style may influence each other a bit.). Also check out his short stories, especially this one:

Over Christmas I bought my dad The Rings of Saturn by W.G. Sebald and my mom The Peregrine by J.A. Baker.

The former is a Joycean Ulysses-style German novel, blending fiction and nonfiction, dreams & reality. Really bizarre but a kind of transcendent novel.

The latter is a book I was required to read by Werner Herzog when I was going to his film school in Munich (though I ended up not going for financial reasons)... It's just about the greatest English prose ever put to paper.

Also have you ever heard of On The Beach by Nevil Shute? I've never read it but I want to and it sounds like something you might like.

Last year that was pretty much every listing i saw. But the past month, idk if im just getting lucky or if employers have just gotten better about the listings they put on job pool sites, but I've found a bunch more that have their pay rate listed (and not just as some "Indeed estimates" bullshit).

What sucks is i'm primarily looking for jobs in hospitals, and most job listings on these sites are for hospitals that are part of a larger regional/national corpoate system — and most (all?) large hospital systems have a policy against advertising their pay rates in job listings. And I'd imagine a lot of larger systems/corporate structures in other fields are the same. Which is so f***ing dumb.

Though i've interviewed with 2 hospitals recently that did post it on their listing. So thats nice at least
