Wrote this for my dad's celebration of life this weekend y'all got any tips for comedic impact or flow

Duane was known for his jokes
His finesse in the art of the roast
To continue the trad, begun by my dad
In his spirit, give one final toast

The rhyme scheme he used, one could say abused
He learned when he was but ten
Makes sense when you hear, that was the year
    He never went back again

Fourth try at grade five, brain-dead or alive
They told him, Duane, you gotta go
    It's getting weird, you've got a beard
    Elsewhere, you've got to grow

A bulb it did flash, the color of cash
In an instant, his path laid bare
"That sounds smart", a thought like a shart
Like trading magic beans for a mare

But all that pot and stuff didn't address
How in the f*** was your favorite band Yes
Hed show you a song, and one hour later
still wasn't over, lungs sounding like Vader

Maybe you've heard of monkey see and then do
This will explain how young Dwangster knew
After seeing Easy Rider two dozen times
How to pose like a biker and commit petty crimes

Was told that he logged, I just took his word
Had nothing to show for the work that I heard
About and hey maybe Im just a dummy
But It seemed like he just jerked off in the crummy

Hed s***kick some huggers then sleep soundly in bed, didn't realize later he be scratching his head.
Waiting all winter for a smidgen of snow
Wondering where in the f*** did it go?

A stern martial artist, his discipline true
Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu and even Kung Fu
He trained most life, he knew em all
Thought he was Bruce, was more Steven Segal

A little success, did not take a genius
A classic Corvette to compensate for his penius
For this I can vouche, as the male heir apparent
Every time I look down, I curse my dead parent

Speaking of Gould, or as he liked, Grizz
This f***in guy was sure free with his... kids
I told him once, "pops can I speak candidly"
    You overpopulated earth singlefuckinhandedly

That's not to say that he wasn't romantic
It's just that the guy was not in a panic
The cost was so high, the only remorse
To find his true love took alotta divorce

A born again Christian, afraid that's a no
If you send him some prayers, one place they will go
And it won't be to Jesus, God or the Pope
But to logger Valhalla, where he's smoking some dope

There's one thing the man showed us all how
between cruising to rap and boarding the pow
And playing with toys and crafting his art
It's how to remain a child at heart

@RVI Been meaning to tell you that I was wrong about "Blame It on Your Love". It has really grown on me a lot. I still dont care for Lizzo's spot, but i no longer ever wanna skip the song.

Still think "Track 10" is superior tho
