Did hearing that in Sopranos make you want to hear it?

Nah I had gotten into him a few years after seeing that. Made me laugh when I went back and rewatched it though. Dumbass AJ.

Weird, I didn’t get this tag. Great compilation though. Dylan always had the best harmonica work.

    both

I mean like the way that Chuck Berry's fast songs were still kind of blues based

YouTube keeps recommending videos titled s*** like “The Complicated Legacy of Lou Reed” and “Why Led Zeppelin Were Cultural Appropriators”. I was like these must be like 5 years old, but nope both from this year. I like video essays about albums, bands, or genres that talk about the music itself not all the unnecessary context around it unless it adds something productive. Any recommendations?

Some of y’all should check out The Antlers comeback record Green To Gold, It’s perfect for summertime. It sounds like warm early 70’s singer songwriter stuff but very laid back and sparse. It’s one of those lazy afternoon laying in the grass basking in the sun type albums if that makes sense.

Did anybody appeal to as many crowds as The Doors (back when the divides were much deeper) had credibility with the artsy avante garde, pop charts, hippies, hard rockers, blues rockers, goths etc later on
