I wouldnt either. Like I said, I understand the appeal and why it's regarded so highly (from conversations I have with people IRL at least). But I will call it overrated til the day I die.
I get that but even past the day you die the album will still be highly regarded. The conversation around this kind of thing is a waste of time. We’re better suited trying to bring more attention to lesser known great albums.
You're such a hypocrite. Why try to have a conversation about the use of overrated as an opinion then just ignore the conversation altogether?
I stopped because I don't want to even bother because you instantly got butthurt over nothing. Eating food looking at my phone before I shower you really think I want to trade paragraphs about the merits of saying overrated when you already called me snarky b****?
Pretty obvious my post about you not truly understanding was a joke
is Pet Sounds the most overrated album of the 60s? Let's talk about it..
I would say Sgt Pepper is more overrated than that just because it was considered the best album of all time for decades

That isnt the post I was talking about. I explained my thought process about calling stuff overrated even within the context of others opinions or still understanding why something is highly regarded, and used DSotM in a separate post as an example. You completely broke away from my actual answer and responded to the DSotM post instead with some bullshit.

Dude I had no other response to you I just asked a question and you clarified and I read it like "oh"

If I had to choose between taking Sgt Pepper and Pet sounds to a desert Island I would take Sgt Pepper and then take a piss on Pet Sounds.
And I kind of like Pet Sounds

well sorry then
it's not a secret I'm a highly triggerable person even for some dumb s*** and this just happened to trigger me for some reason

I’d snipe him from the boat that dropped him off on the island if I saw him pissing on it. Now that would be very based.
It's hard to justify why I get so moody to people sometimes or look so pissed off IRL or get annoyed easily at random times or for no reason in the thread but being easily irritated or annoyed or frustrated is probably the most prevalent trait of my mental illness (depressive disorder). Nobody thinks about the lesser known symptoms of depression and usually just associate it with more common symptoms of sadness, loneliness, eating and sleeping habits or disorders. For me, I get pissed off easily and have to suppress it IRL and sometimes let it out for no reason online. Not a sympathy post btw, just explaining the random outbursts of pettiness or annoyance I show occasionally cause I do get butthurt easily, but there is an actual, scientific reason for it.

No I totally understand man. I get like this all the time. It’s really hard to quantify the feeling or explain it. It could be the littlest thing.

Yeah and unfortunately people don't often consider or understand agitation as a normal symptom of depression, but I rarely get really sad or down and out as much as I used to and have put most of my depression skill points in irritation to combat suicidal thoughts.

Yeah it’s difficult to control the spiraling of feelings when they react to things almost at random. I think a lot of people are sympathetic to the feelings but have a hard time with the way those feelings manifest. It is still up to us to regulate our reactions. I don’t really believe in free will but I think the idea of self control is worth preserving.

I recently had my yearly review with my boss and he said I have 'great patience with people'
like are we talking about me or some clone? I asked my co-workers and they said that I have very low patience and definitely show it in my facial expressions
I guess I just force myself to have greater patience with my boss around

you see the 2nd artist with two albums in my top 10 ? (currently)

Yeah this is why I’ve always done driving jobs. You only have to deal with people for a little while.
how much have I been missing out by slacking on Springsteen b-sides? you got any of them on your best-of playlist or anything?
just downloaded a full 4 hours of b-sides/vault tracks from 1973-1987
