    brah i could not do it with that game lmao it gave me Minecraft vibes but less creative.

    if the main mechanic in a game is mining, crafting, or looking at s***, odds are i probably won’t like it enough to finish

    its mainly exploring which is my favourite mechanic in gaming gets beyond terrifying when you have headphones on at night and youre exploring the depths crawling with unknown terrors. never been more spooked by a game.

    I can see that. Lowkey wish it was a bit quicker to get to that point, the beginning just dragged on too long for me to wanna come back to it after a few sessions

    And tbh the game is a lil obtuse with some of the s*** it expects you to do

    you just gotta scan everything and it becomes pretty clear how to progress your technology and explore even further. you should definitely give it another shot. easily putting it in my Non-Nintendo canon of favourite games ever. You're not just looking at stuff it's survival horror in an alien ocean world and it's pretty intense.

    I don't want to spoil it but there's a very unexpected plot that develops.
