I mean I find Lady gaga to be terrible as well, but Taylor Swift gotta be the most overrated artist of our generation

She just has an overactive fanbase

Think we went through this here before and landed on the conclusion that the issue with Taylor is she quite simply does not have a soul

I love RVI but I can’t imagine any Taylor Swift song ever bringing a grown man to tears. This isn’t even like a gendered thing. I’d say the same thing about an adult woman. But I’m not one to talk, the weirdest s*** has made me cry.

jokes aside i still do think you underestimate the pathos in her music, ik you dont connect with it but i think it is the primary reason for both her dedicated fanbase (who cry to her often) and her longevity. even tho i don't personally relate to a lot of those songs i still feel it from her perspective

im with you on the last statement though, ive probably cried listening to Dancing Queen at least a dozen times

It's ultimately super personal and based off memories and experiences and s*** but for the sake of the thread I will make fun of RVI for crying to Taylor Swift
