Maybe I just prefer wordy lyrical rock stars to wordy lyrical rappers.
I re listened to the first couple songs on T&Y this morning and thought they were ok, will try to fit in a full listen sometime this week
Nothing new
Implied Jack did way worse
I didn't say it was anything new :meek: youre the one that said the ghosts didn't actually get involved
best rock hit of the 90s probably Live Forever or Supersonic for me
magic jams
hm to REM's Drive, RH's Just, Pulps This Is Hardcore
scaruffi comparing Lupe to Bob Dylan
"His visionary lyrics and sociopolitical themes transform him into a sort of Bob Dylan of rap music."
Also;
""I prefer girls to reign all over the world
And not rain like, rain man or rain like rain dance
Or rain like a slight chance of rain when it's raining
Or rein like deer slaves to Santa Claus sleigh man
But reign like Queens that reign over made man
And not Queen like Queen killer, rhapsody bohemian Queen
But Queen, like white glove wave hand""
Such a jumbled mess of wordplay, can't get behind this lyrical miracle shtuff here.
sittin' like two oil derricks separated by a sea of cooling num nums
and
spendin’ 50 thousand on Securus
are two of the most perfect lyrics of the last decade imo
I have never heard you talk about T&Y but ok
I had about 400 posts back then but there might be some posts on it. idk

Finally showing my friends Black Cat White Cat
already going down well with some Eastern European beers
lol t&y was my raoty 2015 since it's release.
The content is good (the imagery and the way it is built up.) and phonetically it works too, which is basically the reason of rhythmn and rhymes in poetry.
Nah, I would criticize Kendrick for using cheap and cheesy metaphors to tell nothing new or exciting like he does all the time aside from his music being rather aimless. Lupe is a far more creative writer.
Be like me and enjoy both. I get to have fun and listen to more good music.
Lol jk that being said, your reasoning is better than Galaxy’s.

Damn I can’t believe that’s 5 years old already
Yeah practice your parry times and parry everything as much as you can. Resurrection is always good. Sekiro is as f*** I'm gonna do another playthrough soon.
how would you compare it to BB or DS3 ? Looks harder but is it better :mystery:
Damn I can’t believe that’s 5 years old already
I can because I remember Lupe and Kendrick stans fighting eachother all the time
My mum

I think Hi-Fi is better but ppl is well rounded
I think Hi-Fi is better but ppl is well rounded
Ppl stands way apart from all their albums, went full classic rock mode
My mum

my dad not a huge music fan but that might be his favorite album OAT now that I think of it
their most dad rock truly
Funny how even after like a decade of time for him to make his mark, I still feel like Drake has never released a great album.

It's on that same level, but the combat is way faster paced and built on countering instead of dodge/hit like DS and BB
Just play it

combat way faster than those two
parrying and staying mobile is vital in boss fights,
practice your combat with the immortal sparring guy at camp before going out and dying a ton, cuz if you die enough you won’t be able to install your shinobi tools until late in the game
i’d say it’s prolly my fav FROM game tbh
Phoebe Bridgers has some beautiful covers.
you mean like artwork or song covers? either way, you’re right. her cover of Kozelek’s “You Missed My Heart”is somehow just as good as the original, f***in haunting
