F***in whomst
pretty famous country singer. pretty mid though from what ive heard
didnt know he was on american idol
reminding myself how much i loved Kevis Costner as a kid this week :datass: Dances With Wolves/Robin Hood/Waterworld was an amzing threepeat
Watched Water World a lot as a kid. I thought his boat was so cool.

i def get what you mean. they feel like an unexpected change in her sound and are also among my favs. they are so intimate. thought of the amelie soundtrack when I heard them for the first time.
like this verse on Fingertips is just so good, even reading it is like DAMN
“It wasn't my idea, the cocktail of things that twists neurons inside
But without them, I'd die
They say there's irony in the music, it's a tragedy, I
See nothing Greek in it
Give me a mausoleum in Rhode Island with Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Dave
Who hung himself real high
In the National Park sky, it's a shame and I'm crying right now
To get to you, save you, if I take my life
Find your astral body, put it into my eyes
Give you two seconds to cry
Take you home, I, I'll give you a blanket
Your spirit can sit and watch TV by my side”
Voted by white woman from ages 35-45 I assume
i think even they were puzzled at the choice

Blake looks a bit confused in the pic as well. Not a confident pose
i’m ngl that’s lame fam
Nah most tv is corrosive to the soul plus I'm allergic to adverts
lmao i’m not familiar with the Amelie soundtrack in specific, but lowkey those songs do sound sort of “musical-ish”
I take it back.
Kintsugi, Fingertips and Paris,Texas somehow blended into one stream of consciousness in my brain. Paris, texas is the amelie track. I'd also call that one of the best tracks on the album.
Fingertips was the one that reminded me of Joanna Newsom.

i really like Paris, Texas too. which is surprising cuz i don’t often enjoy songs when the melody feels like it’s on rails like that one does lol it’s like so conventional and repetitive, but she does interesting stuff with it
