East Hastings is probably worse now than it was when Godspeed conjured it. The striking thing you notice when you enter Seattle is the tent cities tucked underneath all the highways and turnpikes.
We used to build thousands of low-income Federal housing every year but stopped a few decades ago which is also when corporations and Chinese started to buy up all the real estate which is left obscene amounts of people without a home. They're not all junkies.

The problem I have with those cities is they completely ignore the locals and businesses who are not involved in that lifestyle in the name of being “progressive” with d*** laws. No way is what’s going on in San Fran, Portland, Seattle normal. OD’s, needles everywhere, crime etc. Like I said maybe it’s an exaggeration but it’s certainly not a good look or helping with recovery. If residents like what’s going that’s cool too, the rest are to leave.

Yeah its just a sketchy street. Had to pass through many times on the way to/from concerts at scummy venues. Always an interesting walk at 2 in the morning after a concert when you're obliterated.

Yeah it’s surprisingly riveting. I’ve grown to like all of them, but Simmons is the one who gives me the worst vibes. I kinda don’t want them to turn back on the text to speech feature cause the chat is just painfully unfunny when they spam dumb s***. At least make it really rare. The subtle things the crew does to f*** with them are much more entertaining.
