It's awesome but really is just them mashing together all of the song snippets they had written during the White album burst of creativity because they had nothing else to do with them

The planets aligned or something for them in '68 cause they were able to dip into that well of songs they wrote for not just white album, but abbey road and their first clutch of classic solo albums

I love it but also its too polished and lacks depth for me. White Album and Rubber Soul are roughly 20 times better.
