Great! Really nice stage setup, generous setlist (we got 26 songs), good performances.

The only thing I'll say is that Matty is back to getting f***ed up during shows and he was super wasted on Monday night. That was more distracting than anything, especially because they dedicate a portion of the set to Matty rambling about whatever. It's cringy.

    This was at my show:

like I said, my worst fear. Sympathies for your friend. sounds like a good dude

Now that I have more context, I get why that would be such a terrible fear for you. I lived in fear for months.

When I got accused, I was lucky because her rep was in absolute tatters. She had been getting wasted and taking guys home for months, so by the time she did the same thing with me nobody bought it when she singled me out. In fact, some of her "friends" threw her under the bus for doing that and aired some dirty laundry they had been keeping to themselves because they knew how I felt about her.

It's really sick and sad that she used someone who had been such a significant part of her life to avoid taking accountability for her alcoholism and reckless behavior but what can you other than be accountable for yourself: I shouldn't have been drinking with her and I regret every part I played in that. But I know what kind of person I am and I hope she faces the truth about herself someday.

I made a few friends from mental health ward about 5 years back and am pretty sure i won't ever be good friends with them again.

They one guy and I just never talked much a couple months after the ward

One girl thinks I'm transphobic (I'm not) and is the single most sensitive person I've ever met.

The worst of them all is the one girl who has split personality/BPD (might be DID) never did anything with her but she slept with my ex, and nearly killed herself from d**** shortly after. It took me a while to cut ties cause she was so f***ed up and mentally unstable all the time and she always makes people leave her with her behaviour. I didn't wanna be that person, but she continued to hang with my ex and continue to do d**** with her all the time and never improved herself. She also laughed off sleeping with her like I'm supposed to be ok with it just cause she's a girl. Funny thing is I knew about 6 months before she told me. Took her that long to fess up. She also thought offering a threesome would make me feel better but she'd only be doing herself a favor with that request. Was not interested in her like that. B****

And I even talked to and saw both the girls I mentioned above just last year. First girl probably won't ever talk to me again because of how I was talking to her at our little meetup. I was reasonably pissed because she said I gave up on the second friend but honestly i stuck around longer than I should have. Second friend I saw shortly after out of guilt and I could hardly recognize her probably from all the d**** she had done in the 3 years I didn't see her. Haven't heard from either since and I'm pretty sure the second is in and out of the ward or in an abusive/controlling relationship (or both). I don't think it'll ever be good terms with that friend group again

Bruh I have had so many friends with mental illnesses come and go through my life and I love them but boundaries are so important

One of my best friends has all kinds of s*** wrong with her, honestly she's a lot like my ex, and she's dating one of my other friends. I'm always hearing about crazy s*** she does because she's too ashamed to talk to me about it for fear of me abandoning her. I don't know what's going to happen there, I hope it works out for the best, but there are times I have to be like nah I'm not about this life.

I've known and loved the girl in this song more than once and it's so exhausting

Now that I've been wylin for a bit I really just want someone stable

At first I forgave the friend cause of how mentally erratic she was but I found it more and more difficult to hang out with her as time went on. Was pretty numb to seeing her last time, didn't feel anything towards her. That might be worst

Why do yall think so many people our age and younger have so many mental illnesses ? Do you think today's culture embrace it to the point where kids no longer have childhoods without being on a slew of medication and it follows them into adulthood. Labeling someone with a disorder or condition so fast that it sticks with them for years.

My barber has a 4 year old and already the teachers are saying he exhibits a bunch of behavior issues and should be tested for various conditions. But on the flip this girl I used see from a small town in Wisconsin said that approach isn't even suggested and kids enjoy their youth and people just turn out "normal" boring maybe but normal

It definitely feels like every other kid my friends have is autistic or something. Maybe humans were always like this and were just better at diagnosing ourselves now.

i think it can be partially being more aware of these things, but also a bit of being overly eager to diagnose and prescribe. (not necessarily out of malice/greed or anything). maybe some other factors too like general health or society related things but probably depends on the condition. in my own experience i was actually looking at my psychiatric file the other day and they threw some diagnosis in there that they just mentioned in passing basically that i am 99% sure isn't true. they definitely overprescribed things when trying to help me imo but maybe some of it helped. i dont take any medications anymore and dont feel a need to personally.

with that example you gave i think its possible that knowing those behavior issues could help the child develop into more of a normal person, but they also have to be careful not to overly coddle or get into the mindset that it's a total disability. meds can help and some people might need them but we should definitely be cautious about prescribing them if they might not be needed especially for kids

its annoying how they took away the separate aspergers diagnosis and just combined all levels of autism into "autism spectrum disorder" (in the US at least). theres such a massive difference between high and low functioning autistic people i dont see how it helps anyone, feels like it leads some people to treat high-functioning autism like a disability when its really not. just a different more rare way for minds to work

I hear ya, imo I definitely think these pharmaceutical companies love the new norm of mental health issues especially with kids. Things that weren't looked at as issues before now are to the point where its uncommon not to be on medication. I also think parenting plays a role too but that's a different convo.

i dont really have a problem with the long albums though i see it as the same thing as the era where everything had to be 70minutes to fill out the entire CD. sometimes worthwhile even tho so many cases its not
