One of my favorite pieces of music ever. Such an incredibly haunting quality. I don’t remember if I voted for this in my 70’s list.

Oh yeah. Both are fantastic. They really could do no wrong back then.
The Unforgettable Fire would have benefited from this one:

finally saw Nope last night. surprisingly that might’ve been my best first watch of a Peele movie. sure i liked the other ones, but they both felt kinda cheap or heavy handed by the end.
i loved the setting and cinematography of this one, something i felt the others were lacking. loved the themes about humanity and our relationship with animals/nature
also just finished Wind Up Bird yesterday. HOLY S*** 🤯 @Bizzle
I was not expecting a twist ending from Murakami but damn I can’t see it having gone any other way now. he did a phenomenal job connecting almost every single significant character, moment, and theme together in satisfying ways that didn’t feel forced. love how it ended on an optimistic note despite everything that had happened.
that final chat with May Kasahara was nice
doing DeLillo’s Underworld next, so excited
My supervisor called me and offered me the day off since it's pretty nasty outside and it's 1 day before my vacation days
extra day off LFG
That Sly sample on Rhythm Nation confused the s*** out of me
was trying to think who sampled this cause it didn't occured to me they sampled something lol
I knew it was a classic when the piranah plants chorus began as well

Only got 2 days in before the GF had to go to back to Czech for her grandma's funeral so I won't get to play again for several weeks
it was truly amazing though
What kind of stick do you use?

The zoo story
Glad you liked it. I've never got round to any DeLillo, heard good things though. I've got Song of Solomon lined up next
