I've been doing my Kanye album listing parties with my best friend who is a woman for the past 13 years. At no point did she hit pause and say you know what this is kind of uncool.

There’s something more specific and “real” as it relates to current political dynamics—more so than s***and violence which are just kinda broad exaggerated topics that have always naturally been “exploited” in art.
