I definitely digged it for the most part, I don’t mind the gospel spirit. It feels like a big album, what I would expect from Kanye at this point. Not top 3 or anything but solid

agreed but more solid than Yeezus and Pablo? cant agree with that

I’m very picky about experimental music, but the Pop Group’s record Y is hitting hard on revisit.

I actually didn’t care for Pablo at least back in the day. Yeezus is cool but yea I’d probably take Donda over it. None of those are touching Twisted Fantasy tho. Almost feels like a before and after with that joint.

90's Tyson and DMX was the only thing that could make sense :datass:

Yeezus is definitely the turning point in his discography imo where he got a lot more divisive. Wish DONDA was a little more focused and it would've been amazing. But the highs are great i agree

Although 808s was more divisive than Yeezus so maybe Pablo is the true turning point

There isn't just one turning point but a handful of pivots. Even Graduation felt like a whole new sonic spectrum at the time.

True, the 'old Kanye' goal posts are always moving.

think that Chelsea Wolfe is my favourite album so far this year, and the Mk.Gee and ¥$ records are also quite good. Anybody got other early year favourites I might like?

Best thing I've heard so far is the Burial EP.

Excited for Erika de Casier and Rafael Toral albums this week though
