Not to the extent/knowledge of you guys. Plus its been a while since I was in my NIN/Bowie jamming.
What makes NIN something you correlate with Bowie so heavily? Get into them at the same time?
Aladdin Sane might be just as good as Low though
I f***in agree man
stop reciting my own opinions at me

He's one of Trent's biggest influences, one of the few people they played with on stage, and just general... obviousness. I dunno. Trent is a huge Bowie stan and his influence is blatant in NIN's music.

I get it for a couple albums but im guessing you haven't marinated on Hunky Dory or Ziggy Stardust too much

ayo i can't keep track of that s***
I just read your initial post you deleted about how boomers couldn't fathom Low and STS being better than Aladdin Sane and Hunky Dory

Hunky Dory yes not so much Ziggy

kidding it's nice to hear somebody else that I know has highly refined taste feel exactly the same way
the keyboard/piano arpeggios on this version I always really liked. Still disagree with @aruji vehemently about this one. Will always be a top 5 Bowie song to me. and they bring in Bowie's voice towards the end

Hunky Dory yes not so much Ziggy
Interesting cause Ziggy goes way harder. I guess you're a massive Elliot fan so more gentle album aren't out of your wheelhouse either.

I think Bowie produced or had something to do with a Marilyn Manson album too haha he was definitely around Trent at some point

Trent influenced 90s Bowie for sure. Bowie loved The Downward Spiral. They did that “I’m Afraid of America” song, maybe some other s***.
Also Manson’s Antichrist Superstar era was all Trent. Dunno if Bowie and Manson did anything together.
Been revisiting Twin Peaks and we only have two episodes of The Return left to watch tonight
Coop is back
Idk how many of you watched Dragonball Z but man these last couple episodes when Dougie finally turns into actual Coop give the exact same energy that the last few episodes of the Frieza saga gave. when Goku finally f***in makes it back to Earth to after training with King Kai for 200 episodes and he knows exactly what to do and everything is gonna be ok
kicks the s*** out of the Ginyu Force and handles Frieza.
Peaks just the film nerd adult version of DBZ. Including how f***ing goofy and charming it is between the awesome bits.

My wheelhouse is big

I know just thinking probably not a lot of early 70s glam. Every listen to a T.Rex album?

Yea it was Mechanical Animals that was heavily influenced by Bowie and actually had Corgan involved at some point too
A hangout with Trent, Manson, and Corgan could either be the most cringe or awesome time ever

it can't be. he must have become become the legendary Super Saiyan.
like that Recoome moment. I get what you're saying. It's like he knows about everything and even more than we do.

Yeah thats almost always the answer people give but his albums were jam packed with the most tender ballads and goofy endearing bops. I could see you digging it. Him and Bowie were neck and neck for a couple years in the early 70s.

They all hated or loved each other at some point. Weird scene.
