I peeped that flick In A Lonely Place last night, very solid dust. Funny enough I randomly looked at the book a few months ago and I think they focus more on Bogie’s character coming home from the war than being a screenwriter.
I read that one earlier this year, there's still big focus on his writing from what I remember. Was a cool book, had a real hazy, foggy vibe
Gonna watch Nosferatu from 1922 with restored shots
Yessir
queue up The Last Laugh, Faust and Sunrise as well. Nosferatu great but Murnau was just getting going.

You can vote up to 70 directors but you should at least vote for 15 directors.
the lists should be ranked and numbered.
Example:
1. Alfred Hitchcock
2. Ingmar Bergman
3. Martin Scorsese
4. ...
weighted counting. The first few places get more points as the differences fizzle out towards the backhalf of the list.
It's possible to vote for any director. Like if you are a fan of someone who does mostly documentaries you can also vote for them.
As for directors whose name starts with their surname just type them in the way they would be typed in their native language. example: Park Chan-wook NOT Chan-wook Park. But please check the "correct" english spelling (for example: Andrei Tarkovsky, not Andreij Tarkowskij).
if there are two directors with the same name please specifiy them with their birth date. If you don't know it's fine (no one is able to know every filmmaker) but if you do it would help. Otherwise I'll be asking anyway.
edits will be accepted until at least January 24th
