Ziggy
Although it is kinda pitiful how AJ never redeems himself at all. But he is meant to be the spoiled prince
They even made his suicide attempt pathetic
It would have been an interesting path to take if he actually succeeded. The affect it would have on Tony. Would also make him way more tragic. Instead he was king douchebag til the end.
yeah was gonna peep the plugs i met next
you'll get used to the adlibs and wrestling lines/skits, it just adds to his charisma. Beat selection is always on point with some of the raps best. But even if Westside isnt your fav Conway and Benny also got some heat. Mach-Hommy and Boldy James were/are affiliated too.
Conway - Reject 2
Westside Gunn - Flygod
Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 3
Mach- Hommy - HBO
yeah for some reason Endle clicked with me, cant quite put my finger on it but its a certain feeling.
cant remember, you ever heard Tripsichord?
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ1_hoL41U4feel like im about to enter a nice psych phase
Same, always gotta get a new clutch for the sunny weather
got Lost And Found album Everybody's Here coming in the mail ... another band from The Elevators label

oh yeah i started listening to mach hommy, hes pretty good
sheeeet i did, that would def crack the top 50 been a while since i spun it
@Koala that album just still goes, dont think they were ever gonna top that one. the pv stuff before it was amazing too but that album is special
@Lawdie yeah when ye and ksg dropped i wasnt posting much and for once for a release was out of the ye hypemachine. it was between that and pablo tbh for this one, it was tough. definitely opened itself up to me heavy. peak kanye duality boiled down to its essentials. super simplistic, immediate and nothing but the man himself. ghost town and the original version of i thought about killing you top 5 ye
this just reminds me how flat the (second half of) the updated version of ITAKY is
Ye made me realize deep inside Kanye is done as an artist
But I decided to be delusional until JIK cemented it

I mean KSG is very good... but also more of a showcase fir Cudi.

Yeah I can’t even rly give Ye much credit on that, Cudi and his producers had more credits on the album overall than him and his guys.
KSG does contain his last ever good raps though
Kanye did great production on Daytona though

"4th Dimension" and "Freeee" are the only songs that really favor Kanye's style on that joint. "Fire" and the last 3 are undoubtedly Cudi creations... not sure about the opening track though

I think reborn and cudi montage were p much cudi and his guys on it
The opener has Ye credited, but also Plain Pat. And then there’s guys like cashmere cat, Vernon, Francis and the lights who worked on it as well
@Aruji so I really loved Stabscotch's 1 new song "The Last Alchemist" but really didn't care for the other one.
Gonna watch Fellini's Casanova tomorrow. I looked up some reviews about it and I imagine the mixed reviews going from "its a masterpiece" to "its a piece of s***" are because its borderline p***ographic (at least the synopsis implies that). Curious what @Aruji thinks because he's the only one here who's rated it?
Might not be able to watch it tho because I cant find it anywhere online or on any of the streaming services in decent quality. Torrents don’t work on my computer anymore for some reason, so I can’t go that route.

yeah. The album didn't impress me that much on consecutive listens. Might be their weakest afaic but I need more listens.
That song is awesome though.

It is perhaps Fellini's most excessive and hilarious film. It is definitely the opposite to La dolce vita's mild mannered surrealism and closer to Holy Mountain or Fellini's own Satyricon. The message itself "hedonism is empty" might be a bit banal (sure, there is more but that's the main thing) but the visuals are what it's for. As tongue-in-cheek as it gets.
Iirc the story structure is a bit hindered by it being a semi-"biopic". I liked it a lot back then though.
It's on my rewatch list nonetheless.
Hope you're having fun

Haven't seen Casanova but Satyricon was the gayest film I ever saw, borderline p***ographic
@Elric considering switching to dabs when i move into my own place
Healthiest, most efficient and hygienic way to go

You inspired me to push on past El Topo (which im still reeling from 7 years after a huge group of us watched it blasted on shrooms)
You got me more interested in Sante Sangre than Holy Mountain tho

Oh are those 2 considered an EP?
