    You inspired me to push on past El Topo (which im still reeling from 7 years after a huge group of us watched it blasted on shrooms)

    You got me more interested in Sante Sangre than Holy Mountain tho

    I'm wondering what you will think. The reaction to Holy Mountain will be definitely something I'm more interested. I think you'd be disgusted but also find it hilarious.

    Santa Sangre is a great mix of latter 60s Fellini and Psycho afaic.

    Please skip The Rainbow Thief. I've never seen Tusk and I have no intention in doing so tbh considering pretty much everybody derides it and Jodorowsky had little control over it.

    almost every 2020 album I've listened to and like on first listen felt flat as soon as I put play a second time. Twilight Dawn and Miss Anthropocene the only ones that have somewhat held up and I didn't even like Anthropocene that much. That Uzi Vert album was also super mediocre. Any cool recs?

    Miss anthro on repeat longer than any other Grimes album has been for me

    I think I remember you not being big on the Strokes but as a huge fan I think their new album is my second favorite. It’s just a really fun and pleasant record. A lot of the album seems to be made up of illusions to other songs melodies and riffs and what not. I keep picking up on little things here and there that sound like they’re lifting bits from various places and recontexualizing them. It’s interesting once you notice it.
