80s probably the second best decade for rap if im being honest
If it wasn't for Wu, Outkast and Biggie I'd take 80s over 90s. More creative time like the late 60s for rap.

yea i think the 90s is hard to argue with the sheer amount of good stuff, but id take my 80s top 5 rap albums over my 90s top 5 rap albums
Big bands and jazz - 70s hip hop
50s early 60's rock - early-mid 80s run dmc bambaataa s***
60s creative explosion - all late 80s early 90s hip hop
70s overblown/dead rock star era - 90a gangster and bling era
Punk/post punk era - Wu, Outkast, sslp, mmlp, college dropout?
New wave/synthpop - 808s, drake n Cudi?
Industrial - Yeezus/mia?

Just rewatched Hold the Dark, what a f***ing stupid yet strangely enjoyable film. Also I missed the whole incest part the first time around

hahaha i used to compare young thug to punk when he first came out
still their best to me. Not every song is great but I think it's strong enough.
I think my favorite track is still Troublemaker. It might just be memories associated with it tho.

Does anybody else remember the user yebeatles? He always participated in the list threads and made weird statements like, "too much indie crap in the top 10, smiths are cool though"
