the only intriguing aspect The Social Network is the message that we're all voyeura and love to judge and mock other people and that being a good business model. Otherwise it's a pretty run of the mill big successful business man becones too greedy and selfish and therefore pushes everyone away story without the visuals of a TWBB or the story structure of a Citizen Kane (Kane is also a far more complex character. ). It's alright I guess. the pacing is nice.

Compare that to the other Fincher films in terms of story and style. It's his blandest film imo

I feel like it gets so much praise because it’s so relatable and brings out so many feelings from that period of time it released - both from a social media perspective and movie wise
