gabapentinit was right on the line and maybe over it, a little too fresh about a real, dead man with a lot of people who loved him.
but part of the joke is that when a rapper, dies a bunch of corny individuals who don't know enough to talk about hip hop like that suddenly are compelled to have opinions on it by the television and social media and suddenly act like the death of nipsey hussle was meaningful to them. and i think that the people who inflate nipsey's importance so that ppl who never knew s*** about his work suddenly talk abt him like he's pac are doing it for selfish reasons and it should be mocked (if not necessarily like this)
but yeah, there doesnt need to be a whole discourse about it
Yeah, I didn’t initially notice how Chris and Meg were dressed. They’re like hipsters, and my guess is that the show is making fun of hipsters. In the context of the episode the joke probably was meant to be at their expense; that being said I’m not sure that justifies it, since it also kinda downs a dead guy. It’s not super offensive or anything, but distasteful for sure

And for people saying it 'came out of nowhere'. Dawg...thats Family Guy. The show isn't about a progressing storyline or developing characters and their relationships. Its chaos filled to the brim with random jokes, roasts, and references.
