I'm just tired of people not staying true to their word. Movers said they would come back and abandoned me. Now I got stuff in my old house (that we are getting charged by the day for btw) and stuff in a expensive Uhaul. After this move is over I'm never talking to any of these people again.

My mom isn't a bad person just prone to making bad decisions. She works in the therapeutic/social work field and is loved by her clients. The issue is her financial literacy isn't up to par but I try to help her strategize.

I got two other people on thursday night into Friday morning who helped me move. However, they also abandoned me after realizing I was moving onto the third floor.
They got like half the stuff off the U-haul and told me they had to go to work and never came back. This Uhaul is $29.95/day and a mileage charge and my mother and I can't wait for movers.
We are literally stuck with furniture in our Uhaul. The new movers said they would come back and won't respond to our messages.
Ur being dumb if u can’t tell people you’re asking for help all the details (3rd floor) before hand. If u expect people to do this for free or little money, esp since u say u don’t have friends, then ur also being dumb. If they can move it so can u at this point so put in a little elbow grease and get going cus it seems like u tried to shirt cut hiring movers and now you’re going to spend just as much money and way more time. Way to go
