Where did I say "Beyonce cant sing?". I said shes "above average at worst". That obviously means I think she is a good singer despite her not being best of the best.

Alicia Keys is a so-so singer. She does have moments where I think shes great but most of the time shes not really all that, but that doesnt stop her music from being great.

Some of my favorite artists are people like Brandy, Bobby Brown, Janet Jackson, etc., People who cant hit extremely high notes or have amazing range, either.

My view of their singing was never about range.

Even if I agreed with that, this would only mean both of them are average. Never said beyonce couldn't sing. Just saying she isnt elite. And only a fool would think she is. Her vocal range isn't that great and she cant hit highs consistently like people before her or even people during her era. She's a talented pop artist and makes great music.

Like she's able to hold her own with prime Mariah and Whitney. She can go into operatic and deep soulful gospel tones with a relaxed face. Nothing average about Beyonce's singing abilities.
