whole film was just Jake practicing his best crazy eyes

And the Aster hate on KTT needs to stop as well, afaik horror films are meant to scare or disturb you and i can't think of many films that got to me as much as Hereditary did. That dinner scene where you could just feel the anger the mother had bottled up towards her son because she blamed her for their daughets dead, that s*** makes me sweat every time. So intense and emotional

midsummer was kinda interesting but hereditary didnt make me feel anything at any point and im not trying to be edgy
no film socialisme, image book or goodbye to language.. was rasie solo on those? just guessing if he voted for em based on his godard stannery
whole film was just Jake practicing his best crazy eyes
And he looked sexy as f*** doing it so whats the problem

made me cringe and i hate to use that word
only thing worse this decade was Baby Driver

I prefer Midsommar myself too, it's nothing deep but viewing it as a twisted break up story it's just perfect imo and i feel like it's super overhated for no reason
Hereditary i had some problems with but i've rewatched it 3 times after that and it gets under my skin every time so i really respect that. Don't get scared easily from films so the fact that some of the scenes in there still get to me after knowing the film so well makes me really appreciate it

Yeah i don't agree with that at all, i really enjoyed it myself
I haven't seen Baby Driver because the trailers looked garbage to me. Looks look it's a film that tries way too hard to be cool so i haven't got around to it yet

That is accurate and I felt like Nightcrawler was trying too hard to be an edgy nocturnal classic
