class wariohe was definitely positioning himself as 'centre' or 'centre right' for a while and his alt channel was def pandering to edgy 4chan kids a bit without being too on the nose.

I disagree. He was supporting Bernie Sanders openly in 2016. Reviewing memes alone does not make you a rightist, nor does being against liberal identity politics.

2wordsAs someone who followed him for years I feel like I saw a big change in the last couple years
He gave Donda a glowing review because he wanted to polarize it as “ye good drake bad” but almost immediately said he didn’t actually like Donda that much while using the minor changes to the album as justification (when he actually cheered that Chris Brown was removed at first but later forgot that that happened and claimed the changes made him like the album less)
He didn’t wanna be wrong about a Ye album again so he pandered to the fans and milked the Ye Drake beef but immediately flipped after and didn’t even include Donda as one of his favorites of the year after giving it one of the most positive reviews
You can never know what people think, but this is my perception and made me stop watching him

Yeah dude drops a lot of interesting music content and drops on a daily basis with consistent quality
I’m not like a massive stan of him or anything but i feel like watching his vids as just like a recommendation rather than like a guide of what to think is better imo and seeing him give an album u love a great review is nice
