I don't think his opinion matters I just think he's a lame ass hypocrite who's biggest career moments come from riding another man's coattails

Just like how they say Bron put pressure on Bronny, when you're referring to yourself Elohim/Gabriel/Metatron/the Tetragrammaton then the conversation about morality becomes magnified

Break this down a lil i feel like you might be cooking but I feel like I'm missing something

    Edit: i see.

I explained it earlier but it's because Kendrick is held to a higher standard. We all know who Drake is atp, and the fact that Drake said that and mentioned his wife several times is pretty much who Drake is

so Kendrick just gets unfair treatment then? like all I'm saying is that most people are hypocrites at some point or another, Kendrick is no different. there doesn't need to be endless discussions about it just like I don't need endless discussions about Drake working with Chris Brown. I just feel like people are using Kendrick's support of Dr Dre and Carti as some huge gatcha to bring him down a peg and that's lame asf. The only person I wanna see do that is Drake ON WAX. The beef was fun, these think pieces are corny and probably won't affect either party

Answer me this: why doesn't "you hired a crisis management team to hide the fact that you beat on your queen" or "don't even go back to your hood and plant no money trees" count as critiquing someone's moral framework?

Even outside of this beef you have Nas saying "What's sad is I love you 'cause you're my brother
You traded your soul for riches"

Why is Kendrick doing it so egregious to y'all

This how you know them diss tracks that Drake dropped were forgettable as hell

So if that's your logic (lmao) what's your take on drake framing kendrick as a woman beater all while shouting out frequent collaborator Chris brown, who once beat the s*** outta Rihanna who drake was once head over heels in love with?

Peep my post about how ppl will insult opps for same things they won't say to their friends

Pretending that's not a thing is hilarious

There's like a huge difference in how Kendrick framed his allegations against drake and how drake framed his allegations against Kendrick tho

Always been a dumb ass beef that ruined the game, coming from a fan of both, idc anymore

niggas still act like Kendrick attacked Drake's morals just because Drake called him short like bro all that s*** was a response to Family Matters

That's just creative ways to call yourself the god of rap without using the same overused terms idk why y'all are so hung up on every word this man says especially on songs where the tone is him just having fun, even NLU you can hear the tone was mostly him just trolling and cracking jokes

    Break it down for me

Drake didn't approach it with a morality angle, he approach it as "I'm airing out the dirty laundry you don't want people to know about". Like you just said he literally shouts out Chris brown and The Game a few lines prior

Kendrick approach it as Drake and people like him need to be taken out.

" I think niggas like him should die",

    "THEY not like us"

    "why is he around",

"Fuck a rap battle, he should die so all of these women can live with a purpose
I been in this industry twelve years, I'ma tell y'all one lil' secret
It's some weird s*** goin' on and some of these artists be here to police it
They be streamlinin' victims all inside of they home and callin' 'em tender
Then leak videos of themselves to further push their agendas"

it's baffling you think lyrics from a Baby Keem feat should be used against Kendrick, but lyrics from when Drake used to pander to women shouldn't be used against him now

In some ways, it's unfair, but that's what it means to be the top rapper. As I previously stated, it reminds me of Noname getting s*** on for things no one cared about because that's how she built herself, and that's the crowd she hung out with. There's different expectations for different artists.

And I understand your point about Drake not being constantly chastised for working with people like Chris Brown, but at the end of the day, you make the bed you lie in. If you want those talks to stop, live by your words and don't hang out with the people you criticise, who allegedly make you sick to your stomach. Also, people do realize Drake is a bad person, hence this entire saga lol

Fwiw, I believe some of those flaming Kendrick for being a hypocrite are unhealthy opportunists who don't care, tbh...but don't lie and make mental gymnastics because Kendrick is your favourite, I know he is one of my favs but I don't have to make excuses.

    Edit: i see.

Specifically, when Bron said Bronny was better than some players already in the league I believe that's what put the biggest target on Bronny

Kendrick going out of his way to liken himself to significant biblical figures and calling himself a prophet multiple times, then have moments on songs where he's seemingly casting judgement when his closet may or may not be clean is the major conflict. Whereas Drake's image maintains a healthy amount of degeneracy from the gambling, alcohol, womanizing, light skin activity,......traits from his mother's side I could go on but I digress

The standard Kendrick seemingly holds himself to is more than likely to threaten a normal person, while Drake's standard offers a person feelings of superiority at times. The irony is a part of the critique is regular people saying to Kendrick that you're "Not Like Us"
